A pretty print of my illustration of the most famous landmarks in the Cumbrian Lake District.
Great as a gift for any Cumbrian, or as a gift for someone who loves visiting the Lakes. It could also make a lovely wedding or engagement gift.
The illustration was drawn using pen and ink, by hand, and has then been digitally manipulated to come up with the final image. It features Skiddaw, Derwentwater, the Windermere Launch, Wordsworth's Dove Cottage, the Grasmere Gingerbread Shop, Bridge House at Ambleside, Beatrix Potter's Hilltop Farm, Keswick Pencil Museum, Moot Hall and the Castlerigg Stone Circle. There's also a little Herdwick sheep, some little sailing boats, the Bassenthwaite ospreys and a little paraglider.
I grew up in Cumbria and went to school in Keswick, so this has been a lovely project to complete - and it feels very close to my heart!
You can choose to add a line of text to the bottom left of the image if required (making a wonderful personal housewarming, wedding, engagement or leaving gift). You can also add a coloured arc (or "sunshine") to the background of your print.
The standard print is approx 210mm x 300mm and fits into any off the shelf A4 sized frame. The large print is approx 300mm x 420mm and will fit into an A3 frame.
It's printed digitally onto high quality archival paper which will not fade or discolour. It will arrive unframed, in a hardbacked envelope (large prints will be rolled in a tube).
Also available as a card or as wedding or party invites.
